Episode Overview

The angels make their way to the Cherry Lanes Bowl-A-Rama, where they encounter Ziggy, the disgruntled owner of the bowling alley. Even though it's technically their "night off," Monica feels compelled to assist the irritable woman. Ziggy, too proud to accept help, declines Monica's offer to cover the counter. Meanwhile, Darrell, a security guard, is brought in blindfolded by his friends for a surprise birthday celebration, unaware that he and Ziggy, once close friends, have been estranged for years. Ziggy's bitterness towards Darrell is palpable. As Andrew and Tess show Monica how to bowl, she beams when she knocks down a single pin and learns she has another chance. On a different lane, Tess mediates a dispute between engaged couple Renee and Warren over their wedding guest list. Monica probes Ziggy about her feelings towards Darrell, seeking to understand her anger.
