Episode Overview

Annie Greco makes history as France's first female police commissioner in 1971. Shortly after her arrival at the Lille police station, she is called to a crime scene where actor Richard Planck has been found dead in his caravan while filming his latest movie. The prime suspect in the case is Anna Delange, a young actress who had a tumultuous romantic involvement with Richard. To assist her, Greco teams up with the station's least competent inspector, Max Beretta, who is struggling with violent tendencies and is required to attend therapy sessions with an eccentric young psychologist, Rose Bellecour.
