Episode Overview
Ellery and his agent, Howard Biggers, head to the lavish estate of the quirky Spencer Lockridge, where Biggers hopes to secure funding from Lockridge to adapt one of Ellery's novels into a stage play. However, their plans take a turn for the worse when Lockridge vanishes while dressed as the Mad Hatter for the Alice in Wonderland-themed party he was hosting. The mystery deepens as they ponder who could be responsible for his disappearance—could it be someone from New York, or perhaps even someone from Dallas?
