Episode Overview

Burlesque producer Sam Packer is discovered dead, seemingly from a heart attack, but he recorded a video for his funeral warning that he will be murdered, regardless of appearances. In the footage, he requests radio mystery host Simon Brimmer to uncover the truth behind his death. Packer's widow, aware that Simon struggles with even the simplest clues, seeks Ellery's assistance instead. Meanwhile, Brimmer attempts to outsmart Ellery once again, only to find himself completely off the mark.
