Episode Overview

The team travels west to the scenic Napa Valley in California to explore Dennis Duffy's farmhouse from 1906. The property has remained largely unchanged for decades and is in need of a spacious, well-lit kitchen, along with a new roof and a stronger foundation. To assist with the renovations, our host brings in renowned architect Jon Lail, known for his shingle-style homes on the outskirts of St. Helena. We also take a look at the work of general contractor Jim Nolan, whose company has successfully renovated and reconstructed the offices, winery, and tasting rooms at Merryvale Vineyards in downtown St. Helena.
