When a stalker hurls a brick through Chris' window, his record label insists he must hire a bodyguard, covering the costs. Initially hesitant, Chris ultimately chooses Brock Rudman, a formidable and highly skilled security expert. However, Brock's presence dampens Chris' vibe and alienates his friends—Lisa Loeb is particularly let down, believing Chris has fallen prey to the pitfalls of fame. On top of that, Brock is nursing his own heartbreak, and it's up to Chris to help him mend it.
