Episode Overview
Chris attempts to persuade Malcolm Gambol, the new VP at his label, to back a major international tour, but soon realizes his boxing skills are just as crucial as his musical talent. The short-statured executive is an avid fight enthusiast and challenges Chris, a former amateur boxer, to spar. Initially, Chris takes it easy, but after some taunting from Malcolm, he knocks the VP down. Surprisingly, this impresses Malcolm, who agrees to fund the tour. However, Chris soon discovers that Malcolm's love for fighting extends beyond the ring. Meanwhile, Anson is smitten with his new 19-year-old girlfriend, Melissa, only to find out she is Kenney's niece, and her uncle is fiercely protective. Additionally, Yola meets Cody’s parents and learns they are far from the elite family he has portrayed them to be.
