Episode Overview
Title: Great Expectations Plot: On his 21st birthday, Cody's father visits him to offer a position as executive VP in his thriving real estate firm. In his inaugural meeting, Cody disrupts the proceedings with his unconventional idea of constructing a beach mall designed like a sandcastle. After heeding Frank's counsel, Cody decides to resign, realizing this path won't bring him fulfillment. Meanwhile, Carol continues to set up Dana and Karen on disastrous blind dates, the latest involving guys in Beavis and Butthead costumes with fake snot. They team up with Frank to get back at Carol but ultimately agree to end the blind dates. However, Carol tries to persuade them to date a charming guy, which they initially decline before plotting to pursue him.
