However, her plans are interrupted when she is summoned back to the hospital due to complications with her patient. Meanwhile, Abby’s mother, Maggie, who struggles with bipolar disorder and is resistant to her treatment, makes an unannounced appearance at the hospital, creating chaos and turmoil in Abby's life.
