Greene receives a diagnosis of a brain tumor but chooses to keep this troubling information from Corday. Meanwhile, Corday discovers she's facing a malpractice lawsuit and shares with Greene that she is expecting a baby. In another storyline, Abby's mother is unyielding in her refusal to leave. Abby confronts her mother about the pain of her challenging upbringing, yet ultimately decides to invite her home for Thanksgiving dinner, despite her mixed feelings.
