Episode Overview

Furious over Lady Maud's treatment, Dundridge greenlights the motorway that will cut through Handyman Hall and the picturesque Clene Gorge. Lady Maud suspects that Sir Giles is backing this plan to profit from the compensation money, and when she uncovers compromising photos of Dundridge, her fears are confirmed. Determined to thwart his plans, she decides to create a safari park protected by an electric fence to keep out intruders. Using Blott's mimicry skills, she convinces Giles' broker to sell off his shares. With Mrs. Forthby's assistance, she manages to capture Blott photographing one of Sir Giles' S&M encounters, threatening to release it unless he agrees to a divorce settlement that reroutes the motorway. Feeling victorious, she returns home only to hear explosions echoing in the gorge.
