Episode Overview

At the annual gathering for the shipbuilding company, family and friends come together to honor the esteemed naval designer, Commodore Otis Swanson. Yet, he feels increasingly frustrated with his son-in-law, Charles Clay, who has transformed the once-personal company into a sprawling enterprise. Surrounded by his sloshed daughter Joanna, his reckless nephew Swanny, and Charles, the Commodore longs for the respect he finds only in Wayne Taylor, the boatyard leader. Determined to sell the company, the evening takes a dark turn as Charles prepares to erase the Commodore's legacy with a sinister act involving a belaying pin.
