Episode Overview

Ward Fowler, the charming star of the hit show Inspector Lucerne, is notorious for his difficult behavior on set. Despite this, network executives continually bend to his will. Meanwhile, Sid and Claire Daley, a separated couple, produce the series together, with Claire urging everyone to appease Ward. Unbeknownst to Sid, Claire is secretly blackmailing Ward, having uncovered his desertion from the U.S. Army during the Korean War. When Claire answers a call in Ward's trailer, he overhears her mention a trip to Tony’s Deli. Determined to confront her, Ward disguises himself in a ski mask and parka, pretending to be a robber.
