Episode Overview

While hiking, Brian decides to climb a tree and leaps down before Sully can intervene. He lands awkwardly and hits his head. Mike, frustrated with Sully for not keeping a closer eye on Brian, is relieved to discover that he doesn't appear to be injured. Later, a debate arises among the townspeople about who should construct the new schoolhouse. Although Matthew advocates for including Robert E, Jake and Loren ultimately get the task. Meanwhile, Brian starts showing concerning symptoms that worsen into blindness and eventually lead to a coma. With no specialist available, Mike is forced to carry out a risky brain surgery, assisted by Jake and Grace. As the community, including Robert E, unites to build the schoolhouse, Brian regains consciousness and finds his way to the new school. Mike and the family celebrate his return to sight.
