Episode Overview
Upon arriving in Boston, Sully realizes he has some stiff competition for Mike's heart in the form of Dr. William Burke. Initially feeling out of place in Mike's new environment, Sully is encouraged by the kids to embrace a transformation. He later sweeps Mike off her feet with romantic dinners and dancing, even joining her for an opera. At a male-only medical society event, Dr. Burke graciously allows Mike to present her research on Indian medicine while Sully watches. However, when Sully overhears Dr. Burke proposing to Mike, he decides to return to Colorado, after confessing his feelings to her. Ultimately, Mike turns down Dr. Burke's proposal and heads back to Colorado with the kids, where she reciprocates Sully's love with a promise of her own.
