Episode Overview

Mike and Sully struggle to adapt to their new romantic relationship, referred to as "courtin'." Sully invites Mike into his world, teaching her skills like tracking and hunting in the woods. He reluctantly agrees to attend a town meeting with her, where tensions rise over the dwindling water supply. Later, Sully shows Mike his modest home, leading her to question how they could build a life together despite their differences. Meanwhile, Horace’s water divining efforts fail, prompting Hank to consider leaving town with Myra. Robert E and Grace also think about departing. Mike and Sully encourage Cloud Dancing to share his knowledge of water conservation with the community, but Loren and Jake reject the idea. Undeterred, they take water from a toxic Indian pond and sell it to the townsfolk, who soon fall ill. Dr. Mike steps in to treat the sick. In the aftermath, the community unites to prepare a Thanksgiving feast.
