Jim Rockford heads to Newark to take on a new case but quickly finds himself a victim of theft, leaving him stuck at the police station. As he tries to sort things out, he inadvertently becomes entangled in a mob conflict when two underlings, eager to prove themselves, create chaos that complicates the situation even further.
