Episode Overview

Title: Deadlock in Parma Plot: In the series conclusion, Jim Rockford drives his battered Firebird into a breathtaking California sunset, caught up in a local council dispute with significant consequences. While enjoying a fishing trip in the mountains, the private investigator steps in as an emergency stand-in for a fellow angler, an environmentalist councilman who has succumbed to appendicitis. What appears to be a simple proposal for a city park in Parma quickly draws the attention of a group of New Jersey mobsters, who threaten Rockford to vote in their favor or face dire consequences. Meanwhile, the council pressures Rockford to engage in some moonlit fishing, but not in the confines of Parma.
