After receiving a harmless kiss from Aleeya "Ali" Casir, Mark finds himself unexpectedly at the center of an international crisis. Believing Mark to be the American living with his daughter, Sheik Abdullah Casir, Ali's father and ruler of a wealthy Middle Eastern nation, takes drastic measures to safeguard his son's reputation. He commands Ali to marry Mark. Meanwhile, Ali’s brothers, Hassan and Rabin, are busy launching a drug operation. The State Department, eager to maintain good relations with Casir, pressures Mark to go along with the marriage. Despite Hardcastle's attempts to clarify that Ali's true boyfriend, Biff Anderson, would gladly take Mark's place, Casir refuses to alter his plans after making a public declaration.
