Episode Overview
An unscrupulous Russian unleashes the malevolent spirit of Rasputin, hoping to exploit its power for his own gain. To successfully achieve this, he needs to access the portal between worlds that Draven opened in his loft. An ancient sect of Russian priests safeguards a manuscript containing Rasputin's dark prophecies. When their leader, Father Andrew (Stephen Dimopoulos), is brutally killed and the manuscript goes missing, the priests seek assistance from the police. Albrecht, now working as a street cop, allows Capshaw to take the lead on the case, though she remains doubtful about the manuscript's ominous predictions. While at the station, Sarah overhears the unfolding situation and rushes to inform Draven that the thief will likely seek access to his loft’s portal. Just then, Alexander Sokolov (David Lovgren), who possesses the stolen manuscript and plans to use it for nefarious purposes, arrives at the loft but is thwarted.
