Episode Overview
Arthur West, a shady private investigator, tracks down J. J. Stanley at a rundown motel. Aware that Stanley and his accomplice, Ned Bain, are linked to the embezzlement scheme at the Texas National Bank, West plans to extort Ned for silence. However, when J. J. is discovered dead in West's hotel room, suspicion falls on Harriet Bain, Ned's daughter, who becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation.
