Episode Overview
While watching a televised debate, Kimble hears G. Stanley Lazer, a once-prominent lawyer whose career was shattered after a fatal drunk driving incident that killed his wife, assert he could overturn Kimble's wrongful conviction if retried. Now a law instructor at a small college in Harrisburg, Lazer agrees to assist Kimble, joined by his assistant Nancy Gilman. To demonstrate his theory, Lazer organizes a mock trial featuring his students as the prosecution, defense, and jury, all before a live audience. As the trial unfolds, Kimble realizes that Lazer is ultimately confronting his own troubled past.
