Episode Overview
After narrowly escaping a police roadblock and sustaining a gunshot wound to his leg, Kimble finds refuge in a truck en route to Sacramento. There, he encounters Sister Veronica, the principal of St. Mary Magdalene School for girls, whom he had previously driven from Nevada. Seeking her assistance, Kimble asks her to take him to Tarlton, where he believes the one-armed man is involved with a local racketeer. However, a rebellious student spots him and alerts the authorities, forcing Kimble to take cover on a rooftop despite his injury. Meanwhile, Sister Veronica, who is battling a brain tumor, grapples with the news of another troubled student’s disappearance, torn between pursuing the girl or aiding Kimble.
