The Fugitive (1963)
S04E26 Dossier on a Diplomat
Episode Overview
Kimble makes his way to Washington D.C. to consult with lawyer Frank Hobart, author of 'Unjustly Convicted,' which argues Kimble was wrongfully tried due to media bias affecting the judicial process. Seeking representation, Kimble hopes Hobart can persuade the courts to revisit his murder case. Shortly after, he aids Unawa, an African ambassador who collapses on the street. Grateful, Unawa offers Kimble refuge at the African embassy, despite objections from his wife, Davala. While some staff, including the charming Alison Preistley, support Kimble's claim of innocence, the skeptical Davala alerts the police. With Detective Gerard leading the response, Kimble realizes the embassy's diplomatic status offers him temporary safety.
