Callie, a free spirit, confesses to her budget-conscious boyfriend Adam about her significant debt, prompting her to go to great lengths to land a prestigious interview for him. Adam begins to fret that their differing views on finances could jeopardize their relationship. Meanwhile, as Mike looks after Tommy for Lisa in the mornings, he discovers a newfound enjoyment in the coffee dates with the other local moms, who readily embrace him into their close-knit circle. At the same time, Ethan struggles to end things with a girl after she takes a daring step forward.
