Bobby finds himself behind bars after allegedly assaulting Peter, but Sydney manages to persuade Amanda to dismiss the charges. Meanwhile, Peter strikes a deal with Billy's client to settle with Alycia and break free from her grasp. In a bold move, Alycia seizes control of Bobby's company. In a dramatic moment, "Betsy" hurls the couch off the deck and sets it ablaze, later attempting to harm Michael. Jake is infuriated upon discovering that Jane sabotaged Richard's show, leading him to drink heavily at a fashion convention and sleep with a stranger, who eventually becomes Jane's new assistant. Alan decides to come out to a tabloid, unable to continue living a lie, but Matt is uncertain about taking him back.
