Episode Overview
Alison starts working as a waitress at Shooters, while Amanda exploits Billy’s reputation during her contract talks. Meanwhile, Kimberly asks Peter to whisk Michael away for a few days so she can enjoy some personal time. They head to Palm Springs, where they serve as judges for a teen beauty pageant. Teri Carson, the overly assertive mother of a contestant, tries to sway Peter into favoring her daughter, Brandi, who ends up charming Michael but ultimately doesn’t win. After Amanda leaves Billy to pursue Peter, she changes her mind when Teri threatens to sue Peter over the alleged affair with her underage daughter. In an effort to connect with Bobby, Sydney tries to get him drunk and they decide to get matching tattoos. Sydney's friend Laurie visits, bringing her young son Tyler, and Jo offers them a place to stay, only to find bruises on Tyler’s back while babysitting. Meanwhile, Matt reflects on Alan’s move to New York.
