Teri threatens to reveal Michael's misdeeds to Kimberly if he doesn't allow Peter to take the blame for his affair with Brandi. Amanda expresses regret for doubting Peter, but he stands firm against Teri's settlement demands. Kimberly pleads with Peter for assistance with her health issues, but before he can help, he is arrested for statutory rape. Amanda discovers that Michael was the one who had an affair with Brandi. A heated argument occurs between Kimberly and “Betsy,” resulting in Betsy striking Michael with a hammer. Matt consults his former pediatric professor, Dr. Dominick O'Malley, about Tyler, who finds no signs of abuse. Laurie tells Jo to stay out of her affairs. Billy's successful ad campaigns come to a halt, prompting him to decide to move on from his fixation on Brooke.
