Amanda is furious when Brooke lands Jack's cable company as a client for D&D. Meanwhile, Michael employs a waiter and aspiring actor named Mark Paul to impersonate Henry. Amanda throws a "We Survived the Blast of '95" celebration in the courtyard. Kimberly gets the go-ahead to attend the party with Peter to apologize, and Amanda agrees to forgive her. In a twist, Mark Paul unexpectedly emerges from the laundry room, shocking Kimberly. Jane goes to war with Jo over the broken engagement, while Shelly makes a play for Jake during the party, as Jo is busy with Richard. Alison finds herself in bed with Hayley, despite Brooke warning her about Hayley’s reputation. Matt's parents encourage him to invest his settlement in returning to medical school, but tragedy strikes when his father passes away from congestive heart disease. At dinner with Jack, Amanda discovers his fiancée is a figment of his imagination, as he insists he will never let go of her.
