Meanwhile, a frantic Amanda contemplates backing out of her jazz club gig, as she desperately needs the funds to sustain her agency. To expose Peter's "rage epilepsy," Michael has Taylor provoke him into a public outburst, sidestepping doctor-patient confidentiality. Michael then manipulates Peter into relinquishing the chief-of-staff position to him. Alison ridicules Jake’s aspirations of managing a diner and pressures him to focus more on Colleen and David.
