Christine encourages Kyle to move forward with his life and initially turns down Amanda's wedding invite. However, she later changes her mind and heads to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Peter confronts Sterling in his hotel room, armed with a tape recorder, determined to expose Sterling as the cause of their issues. During a heated argument, Lexi's father collapses and tragically passes away. Megan feels a pang of jealousy when she sees Brett comforting Lexi. A gunshot victim named Spider persuades Michael that he can strike it rich by opening a clinic in his neighborhood, prompting Michael to convince his family to invest. Billy continues to disguise himself as Craig, but when Jennifer catches him with Samantha, she feels compelled to reveal the truth to Mia.
