Christine wants to pull out of Nick's scheme, believing that Kyle doesn't deserve such betrayal. However, Taylor confronts her when she attempts to leave town. Meanwhile, Peter clears his name regarding Lexi’s father's death, revealing it was due to a pre-existing condition. Despite this, Lexi is still unwilling to reconcile with him. Brett worries that Michael is winning Megan's heart and suggests they move in together. He later discovers he could inherit ten million dollars from Sterling if he marries Lexi within the year. Billy is busy with a campaign for a dance studio and tries to dissuade Jennifer's romantic ideas about ballroom dancing by bringing her to a class. As Samantha frets over Jeff's departure for spring training, she takes Jennifer's advice and sleeps with him. After a photo shoot at the dance studio, Billy and Jennifer share a dance, culminating in a kiss.
