Jennifer attempts to assist Jeff in winning Samantha back, but when Sam turns him down, she feels a pang of jealousy upon spotting Jen dining with him. This leads to a heated confrontation between the two in the bathroom. Meanwhile, Billy confides in Jennifer about his feelings for her and expresses his distrust toward Samantha. Jennifer learns that Taylor is expecting a baby, while Kyle secretly pays Michael for the paternity test results. Though Michael is the biological father, he deceives Taylor by claiming Nick is the dad. Amanda invests with Rory and ends up sleeping with him. Faced with a lawsuit from Michael, Peter seeks support from Lexi, who tries to persuade Brett to stay. After a violent altercation with Michael, Peter agrees to counseling. Brett and Megan head to Philadelphia for his interview, where Dr. Larner makes a troubling proposition: he'll only endorse Brett if Megan sleeps with him.
