Episode Overview
Samantha decides to reconcile with Jeff after discovering that his knee injury has put an end to his football career. At the jazz club, Amanda witnesses Billy and Jennifer sharing a kiss and subtly hints at Sam's affair. Later, Billy attends a little league game where Jeff is coaching and sees Sam kiss him, leading to a confrontation where he punches Jeff, causing Sam to be knocked out in the chaos. Afterward, she allows Billy to take her home from the hospital, but he won’t speak to her. Meanwhile, Taylor reveals to Kyle that he's the father of her baby, which Amanda learns about and uses to manipulate Kyle into signing divorce papers for a quick divorce in the Dominican Republic. Rory proposes to Amanda, while Megan and Brett get engaged. Dr. Larner assaults Megan, but Brett intervenes. Larner's wife warns Megan that his influence could force Brett to choose between his career and her. As Megan tries to leave Philadelphia, Brett stops her, revealing he turned down the job.
