Episode Overview

Drew becomes fixated on getting a pothole in front of his house repaired. He backs a ballot initiative aimed at funding street improvements. However, when a fire damages the local polling station just before voting day, Drew offers his home as an alternative site. Meanwhile, Lewis and Oswald entice voters with beer in exchange for their support. Upon returning from work, Drew discovers a wild celebration happening inside. Concerned about the legality of serving alcohol, he attempts to disperse the crowd. Chaos ensues when a college student extinguishes a cigarette in the ballot box, igniting the ballots. With Oswald and Lewis keeping the polling inspector occupied, Drew and Kate rush to collect new votes. Ultimately, the measure fails despite their efforts. In the end, Drew decides to tackle the pothole himself during a downpour, realizing he might just be avoiding deeper issues.
