Episode Overview

Linus Santiago, a former troublemaker, impresses the audience at the X Middle School Talent Show with his captivating magic performance. However, things take a turn when his vanishing act involving Dewey Hubble's robotic dog, Barcode, goes awry and the pup fails to reappear. Sticking to the Magician's Code, Santiago refuses to reveal the secret behind his trick, which leads him to become the main suspect in the dog's disappearance. Dewey is desperate to retrieve Barcode, as having him is crucial for getting a real dog. The situation worsens when Barcode's collar is discovered in the lake, leaving both Dewey and Santiago in despair.
