Doc finds himself back on the streets, spiraling further into trouble as he lies to Kim about his demotion and defies her authority as the supervising paramedic. In a reckless act, he intentionally hits a suspect with the bus. Meanwhile, Barnes faces serious consequences in Riker's after taking a stand against Buford, getting shanked for his efforts. Carlos is crushed when Kylie is diagnosed with aplastic anemia and learns he isn’t a suitable bone marrow donor. Sully tries to divert Ty's jabs about his romance with Barbara by steering him toward their LSAT studies. After a brutal shootout, Maritza finally apprehends Lettie's murderer but chooses to let him live, wanting him to endure a lifetime of suffering in prison.
