Episode Overview

While performing with country singer Trisha Yearwood, Chris receives a call from his mother informing him that Uncle Corky, who’s in a V.A. nursing home, wants to see him. Assuming it could be a final visit, Chris reluctantly agrees to let Uncle Corky stay in his spare bedroom after he manages to escape the facility. However, once settled in, Uncle Corky makes a surprising recovery and begins to take over various aspects of Chris's life. Meanwhile, Yola is delighted by her charming new boyfriend Trevor, who is refreshingly down-to-earth despite his wealth. When he innocently believes her joke about knitting her cashmere sweater and asks her to make him one, she can’t help but agree, unaware of the chaos it will bring. Eager to impress, Yola secretly enrolls in knitting classes, but her commitment to Trevor spirals into an obsession as she struggles to keep her sanity while learning the craft.
