Episode Overview
A young artist's dreams are interrupted when he falls ill with flu-like symptoms and a swollen face. His condition worsens as his eyes turn yellow, he struggles to breathe, and one eye bulges unnaturally. He is ultimately diagnosed with Lemierre's syndrome. Meanwhile, an energetic girl finds her life disrupted by unexpected fatigue and breathlessness. Soon, she suffers from severe joint pain and is initially diagnosed with Lyme disease, but further tests reveal she also has Babesiosis alongside chronic Lyme disease. In a separate storyline, a middle-aged woman grows alarmed by lumps in her chest. After surgery to remove them, she starts to experience bleeding from her right breast. Even after treatment, a new lump appears, which is discovered to be two surgical sponges left behind.
