Episode Overview
A young girl’s condition rapidly declines when she unexpectedly develops a fever. Soon after, reddish spots appear on her skin, and she loses her ability to breathe independently, experiencing kidney and liver failure. A spinal tap confirms the diagnosis of meningococcal disease, but the extent of the damage forces doctors to amputate her left arm. Meanwhile, a home contractor, who had been in good health, begins to notice significant abdominal weight gain, which is later identified as a large tumor. Following its removal, he endures severe pain radiating from his abdomen to his back and chest. Initially thought to be part of his healing, an x-ray reveals a retractor has been inadvertently left inside him. Additionally, 7-year-old Kyle Lewis faces a terrifying ordeal as he starts suffering from persistent headaches and vomiting.
