jPod (2008)
Overview
jPod delivers a quirky comedic exploration of office life, inspired by Douglas Coupland’s novel. Premiering on CBC Television on January 8, 2008, the show follows a group of misfit video game developers navigating absurd workplace challenges. Although it faced cancellation due to poor ratings on April 4, 2008, fans rallied for its continuation, resulting in most episodes airing. Featuring an engaging soundtrack with the opening theme "Flutter" by Bonobo, jPod was brought to life by I’m Feeling Lucky Productions, co-created by Coupland and Michael MacLennan, with Coupland contributing to several scripts in the first season.
