Year 9 is a time of transformation, filled with hormonal thirteen-year-olds and marking a pivotal moment in academics as students select their GCSE options. While Thornhill's students are expected to mature significantly, this year also boasts the school’s highest rates of misbehavior. Amidst this chaos, Mr. Moses, the Head of Year, takes on the challenge of navigating the turbulent waters of teenage emotions. His role as a pastoral leader is to keep the Year 9 students focused and on track, but one particular student tests his patience and resonates deeply with him. On a personal note, Mr. Moses is also searching for romance, adding another layer to his already complex life.
