Episode Overview
While continuing her search for Clifford, Marion is called upon to testify against Yamauchi. Meanwhile, Joss reconnects with Stephen Wentworth, an old acquaintance of Monica's, who has started a center to assist the local community. Kate discovers that Tom has been hospitalized with tuberculosis. Upon returning home, Marion finds her house surprisingly well-kept, having been occupied by the Japanese for much of the war, while Dorothy’s place has been vandalized by the locals. Stephen asks Joss to lend a hand at the center. Dorothy and Maggie cross paths with Jake Haulter, who has a mysterious talent for acquiring goods, likely through dubious means. Just then, Marion receives an urgent message to return to the hotel, raising her fears about Clifford’s safety.
