Episode Overview
The girls arrive at a lake, where Mokona discloses that a Machine is submerged within it. They dive below the surface and find a pocket of air, courtesy of Mokona. Umi begins to feel unwell and starts glowing before wandering off. The others notice a mural depicting a blue dragon, which begins to materialize. Umi finds herself separated from Hikaru and Fuu by two massive doors. Ascot appears with his monster, engaging Hikaru and Fuu in battle. Although they struggle to inflict damage, Fuu spots a glowing jewel on the monster’s head, and Hikaru shatters it, stunning the creature. Ascot emerges, lamenting the loss of his monster friends. Hikaru counters that true friends wouldn’t harm each other. The monster revives and goes on a rampage, prompting Ascot to flee while Hikaru and Fuu stand their ground.
