Episode Overview

Alycone cleverly deceives Ascot into releasing her from an imprisonment spell, promising him that she will empower one of his monsters to eliminate the Magic Knights. Meanwhile, Umi is still fixated on her upcoming fencing competition, which was supposed to take place a week after their arrival in Cephiro, despite it now being weeks or possibly even a month later. Hikaru encourages her to believe that if she wishes hard enough, she might still make it to the event, since Cephiro is a realm of great power. Both she and Fuu join in prayer for Umi’s wish. Nearby, Alcyone grants Ascot power over his monster "Luci," which ends up being too much, freezing both the creature and Ascot in place.
