Episode Overview
As the train heads toward Denver, we encounter a few intriguing passengers. Among them is a Pinkerton agent, shackled to Beth Tilton, a woman reluctant to return to her husband in Colorado. We also meet Allie Dawson, a young girl who befriends Newly and opposes violence. The situation escalates when Jack Sinclair, a former adversary of Matt's, seizes control of the train. After Matt disguises himself as a corpse in the baggage car with Doc on watch, he's momentarily safe. Meanwhile, Kitty grows uneasy as Beth gets too friendly with Sinclair, fearing she might spill secrets. Festus and Newly are compelled to help load a gold shipment, and once they do, they make a run for it, drawing the gang into a foot chase. Beth, however, informs a guard about Matt’s presence, prompting him to move in for the kill.
