Episode Overview

While pursuing an outlaw to his hideout, Matt unexpectedly encounters Sarah, who questions whether he ever got married. It’s revealed that Matt once served as a deputy in San Antonio. Later, Sarah announces to the group that she recently wed Charlie Jackson, someone from her past. Charlie attempts to persuade the outlaws to stop harming Sarah but soon uncovers a scheme that could lead to complications. Sarah confesses her love for Matt, only to discover that those feelings aren't reciprocated. Meanwhile, Matt is on the trail of an individual who sentenced him to four days in jail. Sarah is compelled to explain to Vesco why Charlie Jackson has returned to Mexico, as one of Vesco's men knows Charlie is supposed to be dead. She urges Matt to leave, but he is determined to keep her safe.
