Episode Overview

In this third installment of a seven-part series, nine couples are vying for cash prizes, including a grand prize of 1 million dollars. For the first stunt, called the Spouse Spin, each partner is suspended upside down from a spinning girder over water, gripping opposite ends of a rope to support one another. If either partner releases their grip, both will plunge into the harbor. As the girder accelerates, couples must endure as long as possible; the last couple hanging on wins the chance to select from five Capital One credit cards worth between $10,000 and $50,000, with no eliminations occurring. The second stunt features a pie-eating contest, where couples must use their faces to dig through ten unappetizing Fear Factor pies to find four hidden coins.
