Episode Overview

In February 1932, Chicago is engulfed in crime, with its reach extending from the shadowy streets of Cicero to the upscale neighborhoods of the Gold Coast. At a lavish party thrown by the notorious gangster Augie Viale, who rules the southside, crooked attorney Paul Curtiz finds himself in attendance. During the event, Viale brazenly distributes cash to his guests, including police commissioners, judges, lawyers, and influential businessmen, all too eager to hand over control of the city to him.
