Episode Overview
In the heart of New York during 1932, the Syndicate, led by Joe Kulak, Louis "Lepke" Buchalter, and Dutch Schultz, has successfully taken charge of the vast garment sector. Their next target is the bakery business, where 500 independent wholesale bakers operate throughout the city. They instruct Bull Hanlon to persuade the largest independent baker, Adam Stone, to join their ranks, believing that once he does, the others will easily follow suit.
